Alabama Crimson Tide 2017 Season

The Crimson Tide finished 46-18 overall, 12-11 in the SEC, 30-6 at home, 10-11 away and 12-15 against Top 25 teams.

They ended the season last in the SEC in team batting with a .273 average. The only player on the team with an average over .300 was Bailey Hemphill with a .309 BA with 9 home runs. It was Alabama’s pitching that lead the team with Alexis Osorio 1.21 ERA and 23-8 record and a impressive 334 strikeouts along with Sydney Littlejohn’s 1.31 ERA with a 17-9 record. And Madi Moore who seen limited action who had a 3.20 ERA and 6-1 record.

Alabama made it to the Super Regionals where they lost to Florida in Gainsville, 0-2 and 1-2 after winning their first game 3-0. Their playoffs had gotten started by winning their Tuscaloosa Regional with wins over Albany 5-1 and Minnesota 1-0 ( 9-innings) and 1-0.
