Kentucky Wildcats 2017 Season

The Wildcats had a pretty good season going 39-19 overall and 12-12 in the SEC. They were 15-6 at home, 14-9 away and 10-15 vs. Top 25 teams.

Offensively they were lead by Katie Reed, .353 BA, Bailey Vick, .321 BA and Abbey Cheek, .318 with 13 home runs. They had a good 1-2 pitching punch with Meagan Prince, 2.03 ERA with a 21-9 record and Erin Rethlake, 1.95 ERA and 10-5 record.

Kentucky hosted and won their Lexington Regional round with victories over DePaul, 6-0 and Illinois 1-0 & 4-2. In the Eugene Super Regionals though they didn’t do as well losing by scores of 0-4 & 5-6 to host team Oregon.
