Star left handed pitcher Brooke Bollinger recently announced on her Twitter page that she has transferred to the University of Texas for her junior year. She was highly recruited out of high school and played her freshman season at the University of Nevada.
Here’s the tweet she posted announcing her decision: @_BrookeBolinger- Happy to be apart of the Longhorn family
Bollinger had 27 starts as a freshman at Nevada ending up with a record of 16-6 and a 2.81 ERA with 118 strikeouts.
This should help to bolster an already strong Texas pitching rotation that includes fellow lefty,Tiarra Davis along with right hander’s, Kristen Clark, Paige von Sprecken and Erica Wright. Wright missed the entire last season with a rib injury.
